The XYZ filament cartridges have a unique NFC chip that helps the printer to detect the remaining filament and whether it is an original spool. However in some cases it may fail to detect a NFC chip and thus refusing to start a print:
To fix the issue with your XYZ printer, please verify you have bought a spool of filament with a compatible NFC chip. If you have accidentally bought filament without chip, the Open smart tag might be your best option. I you have confirmed that it is an original spool by XYZ, it might be that the firmware of your printer is to old to detect it. Make sure you upgrade the printer firmware to the latest version. At the time of writing the latest version is 2.4.9.
